interview on The Breakfast Club this morning (April 22) had the internet going nuts. After entering the studio, Baby and his crew confronted the trio of DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God then stormed out without giving the popular radio show its standard interview.
While the hip-hop world got its jokes off in the form of memes, Young Thug did not find the ordeal funny and took to Instagram to send a warning shot Charlamagne’s way.
“Charlamagne, [I’ll] make niggas torture you, boy,” says Thugger. “Gonna beat the fuck outta you. We’re gonna beat that fuck nigga up.”
Young Thug owes much of his success to the guidance of Birdman. His inclusion on the Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1 project helped propel Thugger’s career to new heights.
XXL recently chopped it up with the Cash Money co-founder and he told us that both Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan will be involved in the next installment of Rich Gang. “Yeah, they definitely will be,” Birdman said of Rich Homie and Thugger. “Thug is my little bro and I fuck with Quan too. I’m going to always make sure they’re a part of this.”
Along with the two star rappers, Birdman is bringing along a new wave of talent on the project including Jacquees, Atlanta rapper Ralo and more. In March, Baby signed Canadian rapper J-Soul to a deal, but we have heard very little in regards to music and future projects. Perhaps the next Rich Gang album will be his coming out party.
Cash Money is still the army.
